SOW – APRIL to JUNE

HARVEST – AUGUST to OCTOBER

Sow directly outdoors where they are to grow from April after the last predicted frost date. Sow at a depth of 1.5cm into well prepared, raked sandy soil in a sunny site. Place a seed about every 2.5cm away from one another to save you moving any and thinning them out. Rows should be about 15cm apart.

Once the seedlings emerge (after about 17 days), thin out seedlings as necessary. You can repeat sowings at regular intervals to ensure you have prolonged harvest. Water at night in dry periods.
