SOW INDOORS – ALL YEAR

SOW OUTDOORS – MAY to JULY

HARVEST – 40-45 days after sowing

You can sow coriander virtually all year round. Coriander doesn’t like being transplanted so it’s best to sow directly into the pots where they are to grow to maturity. Pots need a minimum depth of 15cm to accommodate the roots. Seeds should be sown around 5cm apart. Sprinkle the seeds over the surface and cover with 1/4 inch of seed compost. Place in a light, warm space in 18-21°C (64-69°F). Make sure there is plenty of light and drainage for the pots. Germination usually takes 7-21 days.

For outdoor cultivation, sow into beds or pots with the guidance above. To reach full maturity takes 40-45 days, and to harvest pull or cut the leaves.

Coriander like partial shade or full sun.
