Description

SOW – FEB to APRIL

FLOWER – JUNE to SEPT

HEIGHT – 90cm height, 40cm spread

Sow indoors. Fill a seed tray with seed sowing compost nearly to the top. Sow seeds lightly over the surface and cover with seed compost (approx 0.5cm deep). Place in a light space in warmth of 18-22°C (60-70°F) and keep moist. Germination takes 5-10 days. Once germination has occurred, reduce temperature to 10-15°C and grow on.

Seeds can be sown directly outside in March to April. When seedlings are large enough to handle (between 2-4cm usually), they’re ready to be transferred into larger pots (8cm) or trays. Keep seedlings in a light position. Gradually harden off when planting outdoors. Prune back after flowering to encourage second flush of flowers.
